Merienda Bakeshop is a family-owned business that has been specializing in baking Filipino breads and pastries since 2012. They sell their products in their ship daily as well supply a growing number of Filipino grocery stores throughout the lower mainland.
Pan de Sal
They are known for their delicious fresh Pan de Sal (Filipino dinner rolls) which are made throughout the day at the bakery.
Ube Loaf
I enjoyed the Ube Loaf (purple-yam filled sweet bread) as well as the Spanish Bread (buttermilk and sugar filled bread), Cheese Roll (cheese-filled roll with butter and sugar), the Hopia Monggo (mooncake with mung bean filling), Pan de Coco (coconut-filled sweet bread), and the Buko Pie (coconut pie).
They also offer other breads and pastries, as well as some speciality products which include Empanadas, Lumpia, Soup and more.
