Advice: Communal tables for sharing.
I am purist when it comes to coffee, consistent flavour profile matters when roasters open their own cafes. Enter Timbertrain founded by Kevin, Min and Peter who have set up their own roastery in Langley to supply their Gastown café along with others down the road. The café features a unique set-up of communal sharing tables which maximizes the space and perhaps it’s a spot where you will engage and meet others from the neighborhood. I have been in a couple of times already having my go to bevy which is an Espresso Macchiato ($3.25) which I loved, last time I tried one of their Morning Glory Muffins. The menu is simple with a line-up of classic espresso based beverages as well as a pour-over coffee bar, there is also a changing selection of baked goods.
The café is stylish as are the guys behind the bar!
