Fondue Nights at Le Parisien

Last Wednesday I indulged in one of my favourite dishes, sharing a pot of delicious cheese fondue. When travelling in Switzerland or France it was fairly easy to enjoy fondue, it is great to see Le Parisien step up to the plate by offering Fondue on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from now through the winter or hopefully longer.

Designed to evoke the tradition of sharing, conversation and a sense of community. Guests are encouraged to put on their favourite sweater, hurry down to Le Parisien for fondue après work (or ski), and gather with family, friends and strangers. After all, nothing brings people together like dipping soft pillowy pieces of bread into a bubbling hot communal caquelon of melted cheese. I would suggest you order a green salad to go along with the fondue such as I did or add some other dishes for a more heartier affair.

Chef Tom Lee sources fine cheeses from Les Amis du Fromage and his fondue is made with a mix of 4 different cheeses.
Warm up with Fondue Tuesdays and Wednesday nights, $26 per person.
Make reservations to guarantee a seat by calling 604-687-1418, ask a friend or lover out on a date or take your friends and family and make a night of it at Le Parisien Restaurant at 751 Denman Street in the Westend.
