Last night I had my second Dine Out Vancouver dinner experience of the year at Yaletown L’Antipasto. My friend Alejandro joined me, he had the $28 prix fixe menu and I had the $38 prix fixe menu, both of us opted for the vegetarian choices this time around. Their dine out menu was one of my picks in this years festival, at $28 they are also offering a $38 menu which has more unique dishes on offer. We opted to have the VQA wine pairings with each of the courses (extra cost enquire with your server).
1st Course APPETIZER
I had the House made Porcini Mushroom Quiche (on $38 menu) paired with Gray Monk Pinot Auxerroti.
Alejandro had the Insalata Celeste (on $28 menu) with Organic spring greens, chevre goat’s cheese, almonds, dried cherries, balsamic vinegrette paired with the Gray Monk Pinot Auxerroti.
2nd Course ENTRÉE
I had the Delicious Winter Black Truffle Ravioli (on $38 menu) in a vegetable purée sauce, paired with Gray Monk Pinot Auxerroti.
Alejandro had the Gigli Primavera (on $28 menu) Lily shaped pasta from Florence, organic tomato sauce and burrata mozzarella cheese imported directly from Puglia.
3rd Course DESSERT
I had the delicious Tiramisu (on $38 menu) paired with #Xfour Chocolate Vodka
Alejandro had the Vanilla Panna Cotta (on $28 menu)
