If you love a great loaf of bread and croissants this is the place to go. One of my friends had been nudging me to visit this French Canadian bakery and I was quite impressed. I had the Chocolate Almond Croissant ($3.25) which was filled with moist almond and delicious chocolate, topped with almonds and icing sugar, they also have a version without chocolate for ($3.05). I got a loaf of their Multigrain bread to go and it was one of the best that I have had. Everything including the croissants, breads, pastries and desserts are baked in the very large bakery behind the counter where you can see the bakers hard at work. The pastry case is filled with tempting pastries, there is some seating out front. Drop by early for an almond croissant and a 49^th Parallel latte !
