Vancouver Martini Challenge

Welcome to the next Vancouver Foodster Martini Challenge. Restaurants and bars from all over Metro Vancouver were invited to enter their Martini creations into this challenge. Each restaurant and bar will be featuring their Martini creations on their menu from April 6-30, 2023.

How Does this all Work? For the public challenge, you are invited to go out and order any or all of the Martini creations in this challenge, then you decide who you think has the best creation for the People’s Choice award winners. 

Share your experiences: Share your photos on Instagram and TikTok throughout the challenge, our instagram and TikTok address is @vanfoodster and the hashtag is #MartiniChallengeYVR please include this hashtag in all your social media sharing during the challenge.

Voting criteria –  some things to help you judge your favourite martini creations – keep these things in mind: originality, creativity, uniqueness, traditional, non-traditional, price, value and most importantly taste.

How to VOTE :

  1. Look for our Martini challenge posters at each of the participating restaurants and bars.
  2. Scan the QR code and Vote for your favourites from April 6-30, 2023

Get some friends together and visit 2 places or more to taste the different Martini creations or go solo or with a friend– just remember to VOTE for your favourites

Diva at the Met

Botanist’s Confection Martini

Description: If the botanist had a favorite confection this would be it! The rose infused gin, citrus lemon rose vodka, floral elderflower liqueur, herbal essence of 130 herbs, hibiscus cane sugar syrup topped with glitter cotton candy.

Ingredients: 0.75 rose infused gin, 0.75 lemon rose vodka, 1 oz elederflower liquire, 0.5 oz hibiscus simple syrup, 1 tsp of green chartuse, Juice of half lime, Garnish, Edible Rose candy, Glitter mist and Cotton candy skewer.
