Welcome to the next Vancouver Foodster Mojito Challenge. I have invited restaurants and bars from all over the city to enter their Mojito creations into this challenge, some have entered their most popular creation from their menu and others created a special Mojito creation just for this challenge. Each restaurant and bar will be featuring their special creation on their menu from July 8 – 31, 2022.
How Does this all Work? For the public challenge, you are invited to go out and order any or all of the Mojito creations in this challenge, then you decide who you think has the best creation for the People’s Choice award winners.
Share your experiences: Share your photos on Instagram and TikTok throughout the challenge, our instagram and TikTok address is @vanfoodster and the hashtag is #MojitoChallengeYVR please include this hashtag in all your social media sharing during the challenge.
Voting criteria – some things to help you judge your favourite Mojito creations – keep these things in mind: originality, creativity, uniqueness, traditional, non-traditional, price, value and most importantly taste.
How to VOTE :
- Look for our Mojito challenge posters at each of the participating restaurants and bars.
- Scan the QR code and Vote for your favourites from July 8-31, 2022.
Get some friends together and visit 2 places or more to taste the different Mojito creations or go solo or with a friend– just remember to VOTE for your favourites

Sunset in Marrakesh

Description: We infused apricots and Moroccan spices inside the rum bottle, creating a new twist on the classic mojito. Then we mix spiced rum with traditionally made Moroccan mint tea, add some freshly squeezed lemon juice and Moroccan vanilla cherry jam as a sweetener. The combination of colours (red, yellow and green) symbolises the sunset sky in Marrakesh.
Ingredients: 2 oz spiced dark rum, 2 oz lemon juice, 5 oz traditional Moroccan mint tea, Moroccan cherry jam and Moroccan spices as garnish (all spice mix)
