Specializing in traditional Thai cuisine, this Chinatown neighborhood eatery has a wonderful menu filled with classic flavourful dishes. I have tried several dishes starting off with their Fried Papaya Salad with a medium spicy and sour green papaya salad with tomatoes, green beans, carrot, lime juice and roasted peanuts with a delicious sauce on the side. Another popular dish here is the Thai Fresh Rolls aka salad rolls these are Vegan, Fresh roll wrapper stuffed with tofu, cucumber, carrot, lettuce, mint and basil. Served with Thai green sauce.
Pineapple Fried Rice with shrimp is a tasty stir‐fried rice with egg, pineapple, raisin, cranberry, onion, and a hint of turmeric garnished with sliced cucumber and cilantro. Skinny Chicken Wings these are low-carb deep fried chicken wings served with a tasty Thai tamarind dipping sauce; the Chicken Satay where the chicken has been marinated in fresh Thai spices and coconut milk. Served with Thai peanut sauce and Thai cucumber and red onion relish
They have a few different traditional curries available, we tried two of them, the delicious Red Curry with bamboo shoots and chicken, medium spiced red chili curry paste with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, bell peppers and basil leaves; and the Green Curry with shrimp, medium spiced green chili curry paste with coconut milk, eggplants, bell peppers and basil leaves, along with some of the Jasmine rice.
Pad Ka Prow, is a mild spiced stir-fried dish with chopped garlic, Thai chili, bell peppers, green bean and Holy basil leaves
Mango and Sweet Coconut Sticky Rice was a tasty dessert to end the meal and during the meal I tried a couple of different refreshing beverages, the traditional Thai Iced Tea and the Thai Lemon Tea.
This is a great restaurant for dining with a large group as it is very spacious inside, they also offer lunch specials during the weekdays.
