Inspired by Nonna’s cooking, this Italian focussed eatery features Executive Chef, Enrico Fratoni who has brought fresh, local and approachable fare to the neighbourhood. I have dined a few times since opening enjoying many delicious dishes along the way.

Toscana Salad
I loved the additive House-made Focaccia along with the Rucola Salad with Arugula, radicchio, fennel, shallots, and olives; and the Toscana Salad with Tuscan kale, barley, roasted tomatoes, and roasted pecorino.

Chitarrine e Tartufo
The Chitarrine Al Ragù was outstanding with the Square spaghetti made fresh in-house, served in an authentic Bolognese sauce; followed by the Radiatori E Ceci Pasta, chickpeas, and paprika-seasoned bread crumbs made fresh in-house. The Chitarrine e Tartufo is a tower of fresh “spaghetti alla chitarra” made in house, served in a delicious truffle sauce with a variety of mushrooms and topped with parmigiano.

Tirolese
Tried a couple of their pizzas, the Vegetariana Pizza with Zucchini, eggplant, red peppers, cherry tomatoes, parsley, scamorza, and grana cheeses; and the Tirolese with radicchio, fontina cheese, mushrooms, speck, Buffala Mozzarella with balsamic.

Tiramisu
Tried a couple of their desserts, the delicious Gluten free Dark chocolate cake with red wine poached pear; and the classic Tiramisu with ladyfingers soaked in espresso, layered with Mascarpone cream and topped with crushed chocolate and cocoa powder.
They offer up a good selection of wines, beer as well as cocktails. Take friends, take family and truly enjoy the wonderful food on the drive.
