It’s all about tacos and more at this happening spot in the heart of the entertainment district. Whether it’s lunchtime, happy hour or night-time, tasty eats and drinks with a creative spin are the focus. I have been in a few times, each time savouring some delicious tacos, flatbreads and such including the Chips & Salsa along with the tasty Cornbread Muffins; these went perfectly with the Mezcal Margarita and Pomegranate Margarita.
El Cubano Taco

The award winning El Cubano Taco is done up with caramelized cheese tortilla, shredded lettuce, house made carnitas, grainy dijon aioli, cucumber salsa, crispy fried onions, topped with a dill pickle; other favourite tacos of mine include the Oh Canada which has French fries, queso, bacon, feta and salsa; the Texan Bbq has BBQ Braised beef, house slaw, bbq sauce, onions, cilantro and Cheetos; the vegetarian Squash has baked kabocha squash, crispy onions, slaw and chimichurri; and The Big Greek is just like a Greek salad but on a taco with braised lamb, lettuce, tzatziki, feta and olives.
The Hitman

The Hitman is their flatbread which has skirt steak and french fries, queso sauce, pico de gallo, house slaw, pickled onion and jalapeno holy amazing! For dessert they have Churros.
They make all their own salsas and sauces in-house, plus they feature a wall of hot sauces which you can try that go from hot to hotter. Their daily happy hour rocks the afternoons with a $1 tacos from a rotating selection. This is a fun place to take a friend or 4, and I look forward to trying more of their tacos and other dishes.
