Tasting Brunch at Tour De Feast

Located in North Van close to the 2nd Narrows bridge, this French bistro has been serving guests for over 5 years. I visited for brunch recently with a friend to enjoy some delicious French dishes as well as a chance to visit hidden gem.

1st dish:

Pepper crusted B.C Albacore loin, winter greens, fingerling potatoes, green beans, pickled shiitake, soft poached egg and wafu emulsion, flavourful and bright.

 

2nd dish:

A delicious house-made tart, fromage blanc, lardons, onions, truffle essence, pistou, side salad with an extra side of fois gras torchon.

in the iron skillet with roasted potatoes, watercress salad and a yummy sauce au poivre.

that my friend had with 2 soft poached eggs, mushrooms, pearl onions, spinach, lardon bacon & red wine jus

perfection of a creme brulee with it’s hard crusted sugar layer on top of an orange flavoured brulee, we both loved this.
