Serving it up old school, Chef/Owner Nitzan Cohen is making his own delicious pastrami, in fact his deli is the only one making it’s own pastrami on the Westcoast North of Portland, he brines the meat for 10 days, then smokes it for 8 hours, and then hand-carves the pastrami for the sandwiches.
Nitzan is an Israeli-born, professionally trained Chef with a passion for food who moved to Canada six years ago to further grow his career. He has established this deli as a pop-up for the summer to gauge interest and it has been widely popular, presently set to run until mid-September, keep an eye out for extended dates as well as the coming of a fulltime daily deli operation.
