I recently had a chance to learn about The Last Great Malts whiskey collection from their global brand Ambassador Gabriel Cardarella of Dewar’s Blended Scotch Whisky. In a one on one session earlier in the day and then at the Vancouver Playhouse in the evening, the backdrop was set for a unique theatrical experience into the history of  each of the malts and their origins.

The last great malts as they are known are the single malt Scotch whisky brands of Aberfeldy, Aultmore, Craigellachie, The Devron and Royal Brackla, they are complex spirits, each with a compelling story from the corners of Scotland they were crafted in.

On stage there were five scenes each representing one of the different malts and their stories along with a chance to taste the whiskey.
