To celebrate Chinese New Year, my friend Ivan joined me for a celebration dinner with symbolic dumplings, a menu that was specially created by Chef Curtis Luk. The focus of our meal was to indulge in each of the five dumpling dishes.
#Happiness chicken lettuce dumplings in ginger soy
#Longevity scallop and ling cod dumplings with a slight kick of spice!
#Peace fried lamb cumin curry dumplings – outstanding flavours!
#Prosperity black truffle dumplings with Fois Gras in a broth with bokchoy!
#Love chocolate kumquat mochi dumplings.
We added a couple of Bartender Tarquin Melnyk’s signature cocktails to pair with the meal, The New Gwie Lo and Koi Pond, along with another dish, the Two Way Eggplant with a delicious sesame paste, on a bed of julienne vegetables with lotus crisps.
