Further exploring Peruvian cuisine, I tasted my way through a sampling of the new brunch menu at Chicha Restaurant. Chef Shelome Bouvette and Allison Flock have created a wonderful selection of dishes to enhance our love of their Peruvian restaurant.
Pineapple Juice ($4) served in a glass jar
Quinoa and Honey Bread ($3) house-baked, toasted, served with local and seasonal preserves and butter
Double Smoked Bacon Eggs Benedict ($13.95) (without the eggs as I don’t like eggs) on cassava root, zucchini, and corn cakes with aji amarillo hollandaise, potatoes, tomatoes, pineapple and plums
Buttermilk and Sweet Potato Waffles ($13.95) topped with Pisco glazed mango and dulce de Leche crema served with a beautiful bowl of fresh fruits with mint
