For years Kitsilano was home to Xoxolat, this fall, Owner, Hodie Rondeau relocated her chocolate store to Yaletown, it is an edible gallery of all things chocolate displaying only the finest of the world’s chocolates, specializing in Single Origin and Estate chocolates, and, treats pairing fun & unusual flavours with chocolate. Finding its inspiration from the classic European chocolaterie, XOXOLAT is Canada’s largest selections of single origin chocolate bars from around the world.
I have always loved visiting this house of chocolate, browsing the unique chocolate labels and finding chocolate bars made of distinct one of kind flavours.
For the consummate foodie, the ravenous and indiscriminate chocolate lover, or the chocolate pupil wanting to know, discover and taste what all the buzz is about around good chocolate. The list of branded products is extensive, they pride themselves in offering chocolate tasting classes throughout the year, most of all they are known for their one of a kind chocolate shoes.
