Last night I attended Welcome Concierge a night of dining, music and festivity at Francesco’s. This enjoyable evening was hosted by the team of Francesco’s for many of the city’s hotel concierges. The room has undergone renovations over the past months, new art adorns the walls, new chandeliers light up the room, gone are the drapes and soon the bar will be transformed along with the seats throughout the dining room.
A 5 course meal was served along with wine and cocktails, entertainment throughout the night featured their 2 house musicians Ian and John.
Prosciutto wrapped asparagus with antipasto
Jumbo Pasta Shell stuffed with artichokes, Roma tomato sauce, basil and reggiano cheese!
Organic Kale Salad with lobster, tomato, cucumber, and blacked pepper!
Sablefish on saffron risotto
Gorgonzola Cheese Cake dipped in chocolate ganache with poached pear!
The restaurant changed ownership in the past year giving the old school charmed Italian restaurant an uplifting of sorts, I hear founder Don Francesco still greets customers old and new and sings opera at opportune moments.
You can visit to taste some of the new creations from Executive Chef Jacob Do and Chef Paco Sanchez for lunch and dinner daily.
