Healthy Eats at Zaatar w Zeit

These days I am looking for more healthier options and Middle Eastern focussed Zaatar w Zeit has a great selection of healthy Lebanese wraps, salads, dips and more for eating in or taking the food to go.

My friends joined me for a healthy feast with leftovers for days and this is what we tried:

Mediterranean flatbread which we all loved.

Five different salads that included the Quinoa Tabbouleh Salad, Quinoa Halloumi Salad, Seasoned Chicken Salad, Z Fattoush Salad and the Zooza Salad.


Famous chicken wrap -roasted chicken with melted cheese mix, crisp lettuce, tomato, crunchy pickles, and garlic sauce.

Hummus Avocado wrap – hummus on spinach flatbread with chili spread, topped with avocado, tomato, olive oil, basil and a mix of grilled eggplant, bell pepper, and sesame seeds.

Green Baked Falafel wrap – baked on fresh spinach flatbread and wrapped with tahini sauce, tomato, pickled turnip, fresh mint, lettuce, and radish, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.

Light Halloumi wrap – high-protein dough, filled with light halloumi, fresh arugula, crisp cucumber, and tomato slices, garnished with mint.

Wild Zaatar Manousheh on multigrain flatbread and a side of veggies.

Green & Classic Hummus dips with multi-grain crackers and for dessert the delicious Halawa wrap and the Ashtalieh (rice pudding).
