I recently spent some time test driving the all-electric Honda Prologue 2024 car to Bellingham for some eats, coffee and to do some exploring.
We visit Bellingham often and it was a smooth ride for both myself and Lawrence as we started the day at Cof& which specializes in Colombian coffee. I had the Capuchino Gold while Lawrence had an Americano and we relaxed in this popular local favourite and listened to some live Latin music.
Next up was lunch at Café Rumba which is Bellingham’s only Peruvian deli and has been going strong for many years, surprisingly this was our first time. We both had their tasty Quinoa bowls.
We walked around downtown Bellingham exploring some of the new spots and then took a short drive to our favourite stop at Trader Joes.
We then headed over to Saltadena Bakery and had their signature Salt & Pepper Cake, and this was so good. It’s a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache in the middle with a salt and pepper buttercream icing, we also had Iced Americanos.
The Prologue is equipped with a host of advanced features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, advanced driver-assistance systems, and a user-friendly interface.
We had a delicious dinner at Otherlands Beer upstairs restaurant which was a cozy spot with unique lighting, I had the Pierogi Shakshuka, while Lawrence had the Shakshuka and we also shared the Fried Brussel Sprouts.
The next day we visited one of my favourite Mexican restaurants for a delicious lunch at Coa Mexican Eatery. I had the Chicken Enchiladas with while Lawrence had the Fresco Salad.
The car was an EV with 450 km range in which we were able to enjoy our drive from Vancouver to Bellingham and home with a lot of KM range to go on the single charge. The 2024 Honda Prologue is Honda’s first full-electric SUV, developed in partnership with GM and it boasts a dynamic design and has Innovative tech. It was fairly simple to charge this car with a nearby fast charger.
I really enjoyed the Honda Prologue 2024 was a great car to drive to and from Bellingham.
