Afternoon Tea is an art and should be an extraordinary experience one that you will cherish. Vancouver has some wonderful places for you to indulge in an Afternoon Tea experience. Each of the places is unique in what they offer along with the type of service and selection of sandwiches, pastries and desserts. I am on a journey around the city to find these extraordinary places.

An extraordinary and delicious Afternoon Thai Tea experience that features five distinct Gongfu Cha tea pairings with twelve meticulously crafted dishes to share.

Lawrence joined me and we started off with a Lemongrass Pandan Elixor palate activator before enjoying the first tea.

We were guided by their certified TAC tea sommelier who ensured each tea complimented each of the accompanying delicacies.

The first set was Arun/Dawn: Savoury, Sour & Spicy
The first tea was Chiran Fukamashi Sencha Green, Kagoshima, Japan

The second set was Athit/Sun: Salty, Savoury & Spicy
The second tea was Yiwu 2006 Shi Pu’er (post-fermented), Yunnan, China

The third set was Bulan/Moon: Sweet & Sour
The third tea was Dong Ding Oolong, Frozen Summit, Nantou, Taiwan

A Finale tea was served to end the experience; it was the Tropical Sunset, flavoured green& black tea blend, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
This is an extraordinary afternoon tea experience and the world’s only Thai tea experience.
