Feast of Fields at Athiana Acres

It has been one of my favourite food events each year for over 15 years and this year the annual tasty event took place at Athiana Acres for its 31st Annual Harvest festival.

I was honored to be able to attend their VIP session this time around which was a wonderful way to enhance the Feast experience before tasting my way around the multiple tents enjoying the food and drink. For the VIP experience Chefs Jared Bihun and Benoit Cecile of Bar Gobo created 3 dishes, my favourites were the Shiso and the Lobster Mushroom. I had them paired with the non-alc Sea Ciderhouse cider. Two delicious desserts, a berry galette and shortbread cookies from Cassandra Cake Co.

Daniel Garfinkel, Farm Director at Athiana Acres spoke and welcomed everyone.

Here are some of the highlights:

Tostadas from @folkerestaurant

Loved hearing musician @ranj.singh who entertained all the guests on this beautiful afternoon at the farm.

The event also featured a silent auction which also helped in raising money for this wonderful organization.

This was another wonderful Feast of Fields, see the last Feast here. This wonderful annual event is organized by Farm Folk City Folk and is their annual fundraiser.

I am already looking forward to attending next year’s event which will be held at Athiana Acres in Richmond.
