I was invited in to try the Dine Out Vancouver dinner menu of their 3 course $45 prix fixe which I did recently. The dishes are all shown below and I noted which ones were my favourites from the 3 course menu that I tried.

Vivace on the Drive is located on Commercial Drive and serves up European food with some fusion elements along with live music; and they are featuring a wonderful 3-course menu for this year’s Dine Out Vancouver Fest on now and goes through to February 4.

1st Course APPETIZERS

We started off with the delicious Carrot Soup and we also tried the other Appetizer offering which was the Roasted beet salad.

They offer 3 different dishes for the Mains, and you can choose one, or if you go as a couple then I suggest you each pick one so that you can share and try more just like we did.

2nd Course ENTREES

The Striped Bass is a beautiful, tender fish that comes in a buttery sauce with green beans and potatoes. The Confit Duck Leg is flavourful on it’s own but comes on a bed of delicious Carrot polenta.

3rd Course DESSERTS

They have a couple of British style desserts to end the meal and we tried both. My favourite was the Banoffee Brownie which was so good with banana, toffee and chocolate. We also tried the Sticky Toffee Pudding in a pool of toffee sauce.

It is only $45 for the 3-course menu, make a reservation and go and enjoy a delicious meal. This is the perfect time to go if you have never been to this restaurant. That is what Dine Out is all about, experiencing something new.
