Advice: Open daily.

I never had a chance to visit their coffee bike that had been located in and around Kits Beach last summer; fast forward to now and owners James and Sarah have kicked it up a notch and opened this wonderful café. It’s all about tasty coffees, baked goods and more, there is a sense of community when you sit inside or outside at this brightened up cafe on the corner.

There have been several cafes located on this corner over the years. I remember featuring one of those which was called Espressohead in one of my coffee guide books in the nineties. Although it was a dark cafe, it was also community driven much like Kits Beach Coffee Co is today.

Inside there is this very cool swing along with seating throughout and outside there is more seating creating a beautiful flow between both inside and out. I have visited a few times and had a chance to try some of the beverages and baking. The Caramel Cold Brew was refreshing and delicious with their house-made cold brew, caramel and a hint of salt. The PB&J Loaf was moist and yummy, and the Chocolate Orange Beet Loaf was healthy and not too sweet, loved it. I have also tried their Mocha Cold Brew which was tasty, though I preferred the Caramel version.

They serve espresso, pour over coffee, cold brew coffee made from single-origin fair trade sustainably-harvested beans roasted by Habitat Coffee Co. and House of Funk. They also serve in-house blended wildcrafted and organic teas; plus a daily selection of pastries, smoothies, and baked goods that are made in house as well as supplied by local bakers using organic ingredients. We offer gluten free and vegan items.

Make sure to visit and enjoy the bright gem on the corner.
