Opening Soon: MOLTAQA RESTAURANT YALETOWN

Known for their tagines and flambe dishes, Moltaqa’s 2nd location is about to open in Yaletown.

Owner, Mimo has done a lot of the construction on his own as well as painted many pictures that will adorn the walls at his Moroccan restaurant. The room is close to double in size from the original location in Gastown and will seat approx 40 people. This new location also features a long bar for drinks as well as a Moroccan tea bar towards the rear of the restaurant. There is also a lounge area towards the front of the restaurant for patrons to enjoy cocktails while waiting for a table.

When it comes to drinks, guests will be able to enjoy a larger wine menu and an updated cocktail program as well, alongside a selection of Moroccan tea and sweets.

Once the restaurant opens guests will find an abundance of vegan dishes as well as meats that are halal and hormone-free.

They specialize in offering Moroccan tagine dishes made with goat, rabbit, duck, and lamb as well as others made with arctic char and more, and they will also offer their signature flaming tableside carved rack of lamb.

Moltaqa Restaurant is opening soon at 1002 Mainland in Vancouver. You can follow them on instagram @moltaqa.moroccan.yaletown
