Advice: reservations suggested

As the name suggests, passionate owner Chefs Clay and Phil are making almost everything from scratch in their Deep Cove eatery. Here it is about comforting favourites along with very good pizza, buns, bowls and more.

Cauliflower Wings

Buttermilk Fried Chicken

I loved both the tasty Cauliflower Wings with crispy fried cauliflower florets, sesame and green onion, korean chili as well as the delicious Buttermilk Fried Chicken with it’s house pickles, grainy dijon aioli and burnt honey.

Not your average Greek Salad

French Onion Soup

Not your average Greek Salad is made with fried feta which comes on top of a salad of cherry tomatoes, greens, cucumber, shaved Parmesan, and the lemon Dijon dressing which is on the bottom of the dish which I loved. As I am a huge fan of French Onion Soup, it was a must try for me here and wow it was incredible, the flavourful red wine beef broth had deeply caramelized onions, leeks, sourdough crostini and just the right amount of swiss cheese.

Cajun Chicken Bun

As they offer a variety of different buns or better said burgers, the Cajun Chicken Bun with blackened chicken breast was stellar with aged white cheddar, avocado, fixings, and sweet potato chips on the side.

Brussel Sprout Pizza

Perfect Storm Pizza

Since pizza is my go to almost anytime I see it on a menu, I gave this whirl and wow, I loved the Brussel Sprout Pizza that which came with their house-made onion jam on the base, with roasted sprouts, toasted walnuts, mozza blend and burnt honey; also tried the Perfect Storm Pizza which came with their red sauce, smoked bacon, pickled pineapple, roasted jalapeños, mozzarella blend; this was more of a sweeter offering type of pizza but both made on their delicious crust.

Donuts

House-made Donuts was the perfect ending to our meal and a perfect sharable dusted with cinnamon sugar and a bourbon salted caramel sauce.

Take friends, take family and truly enjoy the wonderful foodie experience at this North Shore gem.
