With it’s focus on Japanese cuisine, Owner/Chef Ping leads the kitchen sushi bar and kitchen in his homey restaurant. You will want to sit at the sushi bar to watch the chefs in action preparing the sushi and other specialties.

Dark Magic Roll

Dragon Roll

I loved the Dark Magic Roll which had Red tuna marinated for over 24 hours, avocado and, chives on the inside.  Topped with red tuna zuke, pineapple salsa, shaved egg yolk and micro greens. I also loved the Dragon Roll with prawn tempura, avocado, cucumber topped with unagi.

Salmon on Fire Sushi Donut

One of the house specialties here are the Sushi Donuts which are not only tasty but a beautiful work of art. I had the Salmon on Fire Sushi Donut, which featured crab meat, aburi salmon, avocado and tobiko. The sushi donut features formed rice topped with thin pieces of fish along with the other ingredients. They also offer a scallop and crab meat one and a fish-free one with mango, avocado, cucumber, and kiwi, based on seasonality.

Marugai

Fois Gras

Air Fried Prawn Tempura

I have also had the Marugai (geoduck) and the Fois Gras as well as the tasty Air Fried Prawn Tempura which comes with a house-made tartar sauce.

They offer a full menu of sushi, sashimi, appetizers, as well as donburi bowls as well as uni pasta. It’s a great spot to visit for lunch during the week as well as dinner.
