Last week I had the pleasure to partake in a media tasting of the new cocktails and dishes on their Winter Feature Sheet. As this is one of my favourite Mexican restaurants in the city, I was happy to venture to New Westminster for this delicious tasting.
1st cocktail:

La Calavera cocktail
La Calavera cocktail with double-aged tequila,Campari, vermouth and muddled grapefruit rosy red and so refreshing!
2nd cocktail:

Agua Fresca
Agua Fresca my favourite of the new cocktails on the Winter fresh sheet with Tequila reposado, fresh squeezed lemon, hibiscus flower syrup, spicy morita pepper tea

Pan De Elote Skillet cornbread
Pan De Elote Skillet cornbread, jalapeño jelly, an all time favourite dish.
1st new dish:

Coles De Bruselas Crujientes
Coles De Bruselas Crujientes which is the Spanish name for this addicitive dish of Crispy Brussel sprouts, habanero cream, pepitas, Cotija cheese
2nd new dish:

Tostaditas De Pato
Tostaditas De Pato with Yarrow Meadows Duck breast, warm Brussel slaw, red pumpkin seed mole, and the outstanding and unique Poblano salsa on the plate!
3rd new dish:

Chiles En Nogada
Chiles En Nogada with Prime rib stuffed poblano pepper, dried fruit, walnut and goat cheese cream, this was an outstanding dish that I can’t wait to indulge in again.

Churros in the bag
Churros in the bag, with Dulce de leche on the side for dipping, an old time favourite.
