Executive Chef Wayne Sych launched his spring / summer lunch menu recently and I was invited to taste some of their new dishes as well try some old favourites.
Tomato & Beet Salad fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, pickled beets, arugula, balsamic gastrique (new dish), stunning colours and refreshing.
Chicken & Waffles buttermilk waffles, crispy coated chicken breast, maple brown butter, chili glaze, one of my favourite dishes, previously only offered on the brunch menu, now offereed daily lunch as well.
Tuna Ciabatta rare grilled ablacore tuna, swiss cheese, olive tapenade, basil aioli, arugula, potato salad (new dish), perfet choice of bread, made for a delciious sandwich.
Joe’s Jambalaya roasted chicken, chorizo sausage, fire roasted tomatoes, peppers, jasmine rice (new dish), perfect dish for sharing.
Pavlova crisp meringue, fresh fruit, lemon curd, cream is oh so heavenly (new dish), one of my favourite desserts on the roster hear, which has been updated for the summer season.
