Last Saturday, I visited this market for the first time, this market happens every Saturday from June thru mid-October.

Fire Hook Pizza is the only food vendor which makes their own delicious pizzas in a wood fired oil drum oven. I had the UBC Farm Veg Pizza made with locally grown vegetables from the UBC Farm. I also had their outstanding Hazelnut Butter Pizza  topped with locally grown hazelnuts and Vista d’oro farms craft beer jam, it was superb.

In addition to farm-fresh veggies, fruits, herbs, flowers and free-range eggs from the UBC Farm, the Saturday Farm Market also features a variety of other local growers, bakers, craftspeople, prepared food, and live musicians. The market is open from 9am-1pm.

UBC Farm Market is located on the campus of the University of British Columbia.
