Executive Chef Tobias Grignon and his team launched their Southern American style brunch menu this weekend and my friend Julius and I shared a selection of dishes. I have eaten dinner in the past and it’s great to see them now offering brunch on the weekends.
Chicken & Waffles ($16) crunchy crisped chicken, delicious waffles, bourbon honey and apple slaw which balanced the dish perfectly.
Freedom Toast ($12) is rich and delicious made with their house-made biscuits, honeyed pears, and topped with buttermilk ricotta and pecans.
Kentucky Hot Brown ($13) a hearty, rich dish with smoked turkey, onion jam, mornay sauce, bacon, freedom toast with home fries.
White Cheddar Grits ($6) it is a side order and it’s savoury.
Brunch runs Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 3pm
