Last weekend I was invited to taste some of the new menu items on the weekend brunch menu on The Roof. Months ago they installed a moving canopy that enclosed the stunning patio and beautiful roof top kitchen. It was a cold winter day outside, I enjoyed the warmth of the enclosed patio, the holiday décor and the food. The group of media that I dined with were treated to a delightful spread of stations featuring all sorts of dishes from meats to seafood and more.

My favourite dishes of the ones I tried were:

Roof Hash

braised short ribs, double smoked bacon, chorizo, roasted peppers, hash potatoes, hollandaise

Stuffed French Toast

white chocolate, mascarpone, blueberries

Banana Bread with maple butter
