I lunched here recently with a friend and started with the flavourful Kale Salad ($3.25) with granny smith apples, julienned radicchio and white balsamic vinaigrette; along with the tasty Roasted Red and Yellow Beets Salad ($3.25) with green beans, pistachios, goat’s milk feta, and walnut vinnaigrette. I shared a ½ of the outstanding Beef Short Rib Sandwich ($9 whole) with Portobello mushrooms, tomato, arugula, and smoked gouda on multigrain; along with ½ of the Chicken Sandwich ($9 whole) Rossdown Farms free run organic chicken breast, tomato, fennel, basil, provolone on cranberry bread.

Next I had outstanding Braised Beef Short Rib Stew ($8) with porcini mushrooms, followed by a taste of my friends Moroccan Chicken Stew ($8) with chickpeas.

There wasn’t much of a dessert selection on the menu, though I did try some of their delicious Double Chocolate and Pistachio ($3) gluten-free cookies to end my meal.

This is a great new addition to the neighborhood for that healthy and quick lunch or snack to eat in or to go!
