BBQ Platter
As a lover of BBQ, I have visited many eateries in the Southern USA over the years which had great BBQ, from the sauces to the meats. I fell in love with Re-Up’s street cart when they opened back in 2010, now they have bumped it up a notch, smoking their meats in house, putting BBQ on the map in New Westminster. I visited recently, hopping on the skytrain from downtown Vancouver headed for the River Market on the waterfront for some delish BBQ. I had the BBQ Platter ($10) featuring Pulled Pork with House Coleslaw, Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes and home-made biscuit.
You can order the platters or sandwiches with the pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked chicken or ribs. They have all sorts of different sides from the black bean and corn chili, to the biscuits and mashed potatoes. Whether you are feeding yourself or your family, this is a great spot to satisfy your BBQ craving!
