Last Friday night Apothic Red’s wine was launched at a fabulous affair that I was invited to on the roof top of the Vancouver Art Gallery. This venue is always exceptional for an event and this one wowed guests in every sense.
I had the pleasure to talk with Boyd Morrison who is the Wine Maker for Apothic Red. We talked about his red wine which is a blend of three Californian grapes and is delightful to drink and so smooth on the palate. Apothic Red is owned by the Gallo Family Vineyards.
Delicious fare was served by the Moveable Feast Company and well paired to the Apothic Red Wine. I loved the Duck Quesadillas and most of all loved all the chocolate treats including the chocolate covered cherries. The MC for the evening was Michael Eckford.
