In early June, Tourism Richmond presented the sold out inaugural Fisherman’s Table dinner in Steveston that featured 6 eateries, 5 of which were seafood restaurants offering up a special dish with an optional drink pairing along with a dessert stop to finish the night.

I enjoyed in this festive celebration on a beautiful evening in the heart of Steveston. The event was held outside and each restaurant had their own station to cook up their dish for guests to lineup and get their passport card stamped. At the same time they could also enjoy one of the drink pairings that went with each of the dishes.

Steveston Seafood House
Served a Miso-Glazed Sablefish rice bowl

Catch Restaurant
Served a Spot Prawn Linguine

Globe Restaurant at YVR
Served Garlic butter Spot Prawns

Lavash Seaside Grill
served a Lavash-style Spot Prawn salad

Steveston Built Local Taphouse
Served a Spot Prawn bisque

For dessert Sinfully the Best
Served a Sinful Silky Chocolate Tart

There was live music as well to round out this fabulous event.
