Day Trip to Abbotsford in the Honda Odyssey

Spent the day driving the 2025 Black Edition Honda Odyssey from Vancouver to Abbotsford with my Travel Media Association of Canada – BC Chapter members.

The Odyssey accommodates up to eight passengers across three rows, I took 4 passengers with me who had lots of room to enjoy during the drive.

It was our Spring in the Valley Mingler, which was hosted by Tourism Abbotsford and we started the day with a visit to Maan Farms where we had a delicious Indian lunch of butter chicken, samosas, refreshing pink lemonade and tasted some of the early season strawberries.

We then explored their Tulip Forest, saw the animals, then enjoyed their Cloud Tree ice cream sundae.

Our next adventure of the day was to nearby Taves Farms to meet with owner, Loren Taves and then enjoy a cider or non-alcohol cider (for me) flight along with some bites.

We ended the day with a visit to Lakeland Flowers for the Abbotsford Tulip Festival which was glorious in the field of tulips. We all then had a chance to eat dinner at one of the food trucks on site, I had a delicious Falafel Wrap at the Shawarma Time Food Truck.

The car is loaded with various technology features that include include a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, and a 7-inch digital instrument display. The updated rear entertainment system boasts a 12.8-inch high-resolution screen, HDMI port, and dedicated storage for streaming devices.

The Honda Odyssey was a great car to take a group of friends on the road to the Fraser Valley.
