Some of my friends joined me to experience this Italian eatery that has been running in the area for over 22 years, it was a first time visit for all of us. Almost everything is made from scratch at this popular spot that offers seating upwards of 120.
We started with their delicious all veal Polo meatballs and some complimentary rolls and garlic oil.
For the beverages, I had a Mai tai mocktail, while Lawrence had a Aperol spritz, Sharon had a Shirley temple and Johnny had a Peroni.
We then shared their Calamari, Spinach, apple, and Brie, and Caprese salad for starters.
Next it was their delicious Chicken Genovese with spinach linguini, Roasted Lamb ragu mafalda, baked Eggplant parmigiana and linguine pesto and the Veal Scallopini with fettuccine alfredo.
Known for their 36 hour fermented pizza dough and their brick oven, we had a couple of pizzas they spicy Curry chicken pizza and their Primavera pizza.
We finished with a few of their desserts, my favourites were the Tiramisu, New York Cheesecake followed by their Banokie Pie.
