If you are a fan of our Tasting Plates events or love trying new dishes and restaurants, you are going to want to hear about the 4 events that Vancouver Foodster is presenting during the upcoming Dine Out Festival that kicks off next month. The Dine Out Festival always offers diners a chance to try restaurants they may not have tried before which is often for dinner, this year Destination Vancouver has added many more food related events to get people out exploring and tasting even more. We will be producing another Dine Out Brunch Crawl showcasing multiple restaurants in East Van; along with the East Van Dumpling Fest Crawl; the Asian Dumpling & Noodles Fest in downtown Vancouver plus the Art, Eat and Sip Mount Pleasant event showcasing the area’s eateries and artists.

East Van Dumpling Fest Crawl

Wednesday January 17, 2024
6pm – 10pm
Join us and tantalize your taste buds at several restaurants in East Vancouver and beyond to taste different kinds of dumplings. Experience different restaurants and tastes that may include Chinese dumplings, to Italian Gnocchi, Nepalese momos to Mexican tamales, and more.

Each restaurant will be serving up Tasting Plates and Bowls for guests to enjoy and you will have a chance to visit many different types of restaurants throughout the event.

Dine Out East Van Brunch Crawl

Art, Eat and Sip Mount Pleasant

As part of the Dine Out Vancouver Festival – Get set for an extraordinary night of art, eating and drinking in Mount Pleasant. Visit resident artists, taste dishes and imbibe at several of the neighbourhood’s eateries and food spots.

Following your “digital map passport” as your guide, you will enjoy dishes, bites, sips as well as have a chance to meet the artists, chefs, and discover more around the neighbourhood.

You will learn how Tamales are made (popular Mexican dish) by the Chef of the Tamaly Shop in the heart of Mount Pleasant, and have a meet and greet with 3 Latin American artists exclusive to this VIP Experience.
