June is Pride month and to celebrate Purdy’s Chocolatier will be donating a portion of proceeds of their Pride ice cream bar to the Get Real Movement to support their mission to combat 2SLGBTQ+ discrimination, racism and bullying in schools, summer camps, and workplaces.
I had a chance to learn more about this exciting initiative from Rachel McKinley (head chocolatier) and to taste the ice cream bar which I had coated with nuts. You know it is the Pride version when it comes with rainbow coloured paper cup. Make sure to ask for the Pride bars in any of the Purdy’s locations from June 1st onwards through the month.
They are also offering a selection of Pride related chocolates for gift giving for your friends, loved ones or even to treat yourself.
