As this spring was far different than any other due to the pandemic, I took advantage of being in the city while not able to travel. I did a Takeout Ice Cream Tour locally with the Acura MDX 2022 model.
My first Takeout adventure featured Casereccio Foods in Kitsilano where Maestro James Coleridge @gelatobyjames.yvr is now making his award winning gelato, here he is making world class Italian gelato. With 12 flavours in the case daily, some classic flavours that are there all the time and some new seasonal flavours that change.
You can get almost everything on offer for enjoying inside (when inside dining is open again), patio dining, takeout to pickup daily; or you could get delivery as well.

This is the latest model of the Acura MDX that I have had the pleasure to test drive and it is far different than the 2018 model I had driven a few years ago. Fourth-generation MDX undergoes its most radical design transformation yet with a bold new exterior and sophisticated interior design. This car features an all-new, ultra-rigid platform applies an MDX-first double-wishbone front suspension.
MDX debuts several new technologies including Precision Cockpit all-digital instrument display, Amazon Alexa Built-In, and Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.
My second takeout adventure featured Uno Gelato also located in Kitsilano, crafted by Executive Gelato Master and R&D Director Andres Bermudez Laverde @andres.il.gelatiere who makes a selection of gelato and sorbetto flavours in house.
You can get almost everything on offer takeout to pickup daily; or you could get delivery as well.

I loved this feature which enabled me to adjust the position of my seat accordingly.
My third takeout adventure featured Welcome Parlour in The Shipyards in the Lower Lonsdale area of North Vancouver. Here it is all about ice cream with a fun selection of flavours in the case for cones, cups, flights, sundaes, floats and more!
You can get almost everything on offer to enjoy on the outside plaza, takeout to pickup daily; or you could get delivery as well.

Flight with Birthday cake, Blueberry, espresso flake and mint chocolate chip
I also got a couple of pints to go, one pint with Chocolate and cracked Salted Caramel and the other with strawberry cheesecake, and maple Bourbon

These are the flavours that I tried on this latest visit.
Triple Scoop cone with some of their May flavours including the Brown butter pecan toffee topped with the Avocado honey oat crunch and crowned with the Blueberry mangia cheesecake.
I also got some pints to go, one pint with Blueberry mangia cheesecake, Peanut butter brownie, Continental coffee chip, Birthday cake, and Stracciatella.

The MDX’s windows are framed by a chrome strip (gloss black on the A-Spec package) that begins in front of the mirrors on the front fender, running under the outside mirrors and ultimately circling the side windows. In the rear, the wide-set taillights have their Chicane™ design set in an eye-catching light-blade, and serve to define and enhance the width and stability of the pronounced rear fenders.
I was fortunate to have some beautiful summer like weather to drive around in during the week and was able to use the Panorama sunroof.
I really enjoyed the Acura MDX Suv 2022 and it was a great car to drive to try some great ice cream shops.
