I enjoyed learning about Woodford Reserve Whiskey while enjoying a delicious dinner featuring a selection of flavourful dishes from Chef Kiran Kolathodan and his team at Prohibition in the Rosewood Hotel Georgia.
Each dish was paired to each of the whiskeys presented along with an informative talk by the brand ambassador Taylor Corrigan who explained the process of their bourbon and whiskey.

Woodford Whiskey cocktail
We began the evening with a Woodford Whiskey cocktail made with Honey, ginger, Lemon, ginger beer and Woodford Reserve Whiskey.
We tried 3 different whiskey’s with the different dishes which included Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Double Oaked and the Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey.
1st Course:
Foie | mandarin orange, Brioche | sorrel
2nd Course:
Chicken yakitori | sweet ginger | Bok Choi| lime
3rd Course:
Smoked bison | hakuri turnips | leeks | mustard
4th Course:
Summer tartufo | Woodford Whiskey | chocolate | cherry
Woodford Reserve is based in Kentucky and is widely available throughout British Columbia area liquor stores as well as fine restaurants.
