Vancouver Signature Coffee Drink Challenge

Welcome to the Vancouver Foodster Signature Coffee Drink Challenge. I have invited cafes from around the city to enter their respective signature coffee drink creation into this challenge. Each café will be featuring their Signature Coffee creation on their menu from January 10 – February 3, 2019.

How Does this all Work? For the public challenge, you are invited to go out and order any or all of the coffee drink creations in this challenge, then you decide who you think has the best creation for the People’s Choice award winners.

Share your experiences: Tweet (and don’t forget to tweet or instagram your photos) throughout the challenge, our twitter and instagram address is @vanfoodster and the hashtag is #CoffeeDrinkChallengeYVR please include this hashtag in all your tweets during the challenge.

Voting criteria – some things to help you judge your favourite coffee creations – keep these things in mind: originality, creativity, uniqueness, traditional, non-traditional, price, value and most importantly taste.

Get some friends together and visit 2 places or more to taste the different coffee creations or go solo or with a friend– just remember to VOTE for your favourites

Description: It’s a cappuccino! We use phantom from moving coffee to make this drink. It’s a single origin guatemala espresso. Nutty and fruity! Its sweetness other than the blueberry pure, comes from condense milk, and to finish the drink we shave dark chocolate and cinnamon. The drink is served not super hot since the acidity of the blueberry will split the milk if it’s done too high. The foam is quite thick due to this as well.
