This is where you will want to start your day whether it is for weekend brunching with friends or a weekday kickstart. My friend Nikki joined me for weekend brunch, I had the delicious Macadamia Nut Banana Pancakes ($11) a stack of 3, served with toasted coconut and a coconut cream syrup along with a side of the Hickory Smoked Sea Salt Hashbrowns ($2). Nikki had the Veggie Benny ($13) Sautéed spinach and kale, sliced avocado served on a savory potato bread pudding which I had a piece of and loved it, such a great idea replacing the usual type of benedict bun.
It’s a homey spot which is a true neighborhood gem, inside it is all wood, their are tables and chairs as well as a bar with stools which is perfect for those dining solo. They have their own local community garden out back where they grow as much herbs and produce as they can to use in their dishes. I can’t wait to return for another go around, as I have my eye on their French Toast Flight.
