Advice: Takes reservations, walk-ins welcome.
With it’s 40 draught taps offering their own Central City craft beers as well as beer from other BC craft brewers; this brew pub has more than just brew. Executive Chef Carl Sawatsky has designed a menu with authentic barbeques slow-smoked daily the old-fashioned way, featuring their signature build-your-own-BBQ-burgers, and exquisite dishes infused with Central City’s award-winning beer.
I enjoyed one of the seasonal offerings, the Red Racer Pumpkin Ale and it tasted great with the Teriyaki Dry Ribs ($12) Pork ribs marinated in teriyaki sauce, green onions, kosher salt, and pepper.I had one of the build your own burgers, and my own kind of Beef Burger was served with a Brioche bun, house made Stout BBQ sauce, Avocado, Onion rings, Caramelized onions, tomato and their house smoked Brisket with honey chipotle yams on the side.
For dessert, I had the Blueberry Peach Cobbler ($6) baked in a jar served warm with vanilla ice cream and crumble, this is one of a few different house desserts on offer.
