Last month, I visited this market for the first time, this market happens on the 3rd Friday each month from the spring through the fall in front of the Italian Cultural Centre.

In addition to farm-fresh veggies, fruits, this market also features a variety of other local bakers, chocolatiers, along with other foods, craftspeople, prepared food, and live musicians. The market is open from 4pm-8pm.

The Ivy Oven is a local bakery who specializes in rustic baked goods, both the French Rustic Tarts and the Venice Cake Slice were delicious as were the Rugelach! Follow them on twitter @TheIvyOven

One of the features of this market is that the Italian Cultural Centre offers a set menu of Italian dishes including pasta and chicken freshly made for people to purchase at the market. Either eat at the sharing tables or take it to go. I had their pasta and chicken specials and both were very good.
