Named after his daughter Angie, Chef/owner Clement Ow has turned his passion for home cooking into his own restaurant. His roots are in Brunei where he was born, he has lived in Canada for more than 20 years and his cooking is rooted in his culture. You can expect outstanding food at this hole in a wall eatery with great prices, and true flavours. If spice isn’t your thing, make sure to tell your server to go light, though a spice kick even minimal is the way to go for the laksa. Started off with a refreshing Ribena soda ($1.75)  a very unique and bright red beverage. I had the delicious Roti Canai ($4.50) with a spicy dipping sauce; followed by the delicious Curry Laksa ($8.95) filled with noodles, fish balls, tofu, chicken, cucumbers in a spicy curry sauce. I also had the popular K.K. Buttermilk Tiger Prawns ($12.95) which are outstanding in the most delicious sauce; adding some Coconut Rice ($2) is the way to go to soak up the remnant sauce from the Buttermilk tiger prawns. There is only one dessert and it’s quite simple, the Coconut Pudding ($2) with Ribena ice which is the perfect ending too cool off a spicy meal.

I am looking forward to visiting one day for lunch to try their Mee Goreng which is only available during lunch, as well to returning for dinner for more of their Buttermilk Prawns and any other dish that features the same sauce.
