Advice: Open for lunch and dinner daily, except nightly only on Saturday & Sunday.
Located on the North Shore, this family run gem features a line-up of authentic Italian pizzas where the dough is made daily with Caputo 00 flour, hand-tossed to 12″, and baked in their stone oven. They are top notch in the pizza game, having won my most recent Vancouver Pizza Challenge, their 1st place win is a nod to Chef Cristina Marianetti who is so passionate about the food that she makes. The selection of pastas are as good as their pizzas, and you’ll find other dishes as well to round out the eats offerings.
I have dined a few times, had the Focaccia ($6) Housemade rosemary focaccia with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar; as well as the delicious and hearty Fettuccine Bolognese ($14) with homemade italian meat sauce. I loved the Verde Noce Pizza ($15) which translates into green walnut. A house-made pesto base with toasted walnuts, roasted red and yellow peppers, caramelized onion, oyster mushroom sautéed in garlic oil, and aged mozzarella topped with fresh goat cheese & basil; I’ve also had the meaty Pistachio Mortadella Pizza ($14) pistachio, parmesan, aged mozzarella & olive oil.
A couple desserts round out the Italian focussed menu, there is a selection of wines, beer and other beverages to round out the menu!.
