Chicken and Salad
Located in the heart of Kitsilano’s West 4th neighborhood, Ashgar is the ultimate host who takes care of his customers as he is delighted for them to try his Middle Eastern fare. It’s a simple menu of falafel, hummus, tzatziki, tahini, chicken schwarma, and beef donair sliced to order. The toppings are fresh which include lettuce, tomatoes and various pickles. I’ve had the falafel on previous visits, this time around I had a cup of their Persian Tea ($1.50) along with the Chicken and Salad ($6.85) for lunch, simple and delicious!
