Truffle Lemon Hashbrowns
Known from their popular food truck that has been delighting diners with breakfast and brunch treats downtown and at the farmers markets, they now have a restaurant serving up even more dishes to start the morning. You can’t miss the locale as the outside is the same colour as the truck. I had some dishes that they haven’t featured on the truck, such as the freshly squeezed Orange Juice, I then had the delicious French Toast ($13.25) with the added walnuts, bananas, maple syrup & salted Caramel, the dish is usually served with your choice of bacon or sausages, I went the no meat route this time around. I also had an order of their Truffle Lemon Hashbrowns ($4.25) organic local potatoes, fresh lemon, truffle oil, sea salt and chives, which is a large dish for one, though it didn’t stop me from devouring all. You will want to find their spicy house-made ketchup and add a squeeze or two or three! I have had their pancakes as well as their outstanding Fried Chicken & Waffles previously from the food truck and they have these dishes here as well. Head on over soon, grab a seat and enjoy brunch inside!
