Sip & Savour at the Fairmont Waterfront

Here is a new indulgence for your afternoon enjoyment, instead of Afternoon Tea, why not Sip & Savour over wines from Blasted Church Winery and Cheeses from The Farm House and others.

Bernie Hadley-Beauregard (L) & Evelyn Campbell (R)

Last week I did some sipping and savouring, tasting some of the Blasted Church wines that were paired up with an array of cheeses. I had a chance to talk to Bernie Hadley-Beauregard who designed the wine labels and Evelyn Campbell the Proprietor of Blasted Church.

Vancouver’s Fairmont Waterfront hotel is providing a delicious alternative to afternoon tea with “Sip + Savour” afternoons in Herons West Coast Bar. Sip + Savour will only feature wines and cheeses from British Columbia – continuing the restaurant’s commitment to showcasing the best of local cuisine.

Sip + Savour takes place daily from 2pm to 5pm (excluding Sundays) and makes for the perfect excuse to linger longer after lunch or leave work a little early.

Sip + Savour offers a trio of local artisanal cheeses paired with house-made condiments and three ounce tasters of BC’s renowned Blasted Church wines for just $35.95.
